About the course

MInfSc graduates will have knowledge at a higher level than a BInfSc graduate in an information sciences discipline. They will be able to create new knowledge, critically evaluate information and communicate effectively, and be prepared for doctoral study or employment. They will have good quantitative and computing skills, be able to solve a range of both theoretical and practical problems and will have acquired the ability to work independently and with groups.
